    Are you new to swimming competition? Not sure what to do or bring? We have some hints for you that will help make 

    your first experience a little less nerve wracking. You can also find out what to bring with you to make the day pass a 

    little bit faster.

* Tidal Wave hosted/ work events.

-“Open” meets allow all team members to compete. “Q Times” means that a swimmer must achieve time standards to compete.

-The following meet dates should have an 8 & under division: Oct. 2, Oct. 23, December 2-4, March 9, and March 23-25.

-We would like all Tidal Wave swimmers to compete in TWS hosted meets, as well as the Northern Divisional Championships (The exception would be swimmers competing Senior State meet and NCSA Junior Nationals, and the meets within a week of those competitions).

-Open:  All swimmers, of appropriate age, may compete.

-Q Times:  Must meet qualifying standards for the meet.

-TF:  Timed Final meet.  Swimmers compete in each event only once.

-P/F:  Prelim/ Final.  Swimmers compete in preliminary sessions attempting to qualify for the finals.
